You may use the Object Library to develop application software and may sublicense to third parties, in executable form only, the portions of the Object Library which are necessary to use the application software. You may also use the Object Library to develop additional objects, but such objects developed by you may only be licensed as part of application software and not as part of a library of objects. (c) OT retains all title to the Software, copies of the Software and updates or modifications thereto. In the event OT, in its sole discretion, makes any updates or modifications to the Software available to you, the terms of this License Agreement shall apply to all such updates and modifications. (d) You may not make copies of the Software except (i) one copy of the Software may be made for archival or back-up purposes and (ii) as permitted under (b) above. All copies of the Software, whether authorized or unauthorized, are subject to the terms and conditions of this License Agreement. SmartFields automatically restrict input, format data, and report errors and changes. They also provide extensive validation of the application user's input with very little programming effort. SmartFields can dramatically reduce the time required to develop applications that require information to be a specific data type, format, or from a specific set of valid values. It is an object kit that every developer will find extremely useful. Input can be restricted to a specific data type including: digits, integers, floating point numbers, alphabetic characters, regular text, dates, and regular expressions. Fields can be set to reformat as the user enters information. Values entered into an OTSmartField can be validated using: lists of explicit values, ranges of valid values and regular expression patterns. The palette was awarded a four-cube rating from NeXTWORLD Magazine and won the coveted ªBest Of Breedº award for ObjectWare at the 1993 NeXWORLD Expo. Installation Information ======================== The software contains "tar'ed" directories. Unpacking the "tar'ed" file will extract a set of directories. Each directory contains the software which is normally on a separate floppy disk when the Software is distributed on physical media. After unpacking the "tar'ed" file, treat the set of directories as floppy disks, and perform an installation as if you had received the Software on floppy disks.
